What house cleaning costs in Los Angeles, and what moves the number

Nobody can price a home they have not heard described. We do not publish a list, because a list would be wrong for most homes on it. Here is what actually moves the number.

Bathrooms, then bedrooms

Bathrooms take the longest per square foot of anything in a house, so they move a price more than bedrooms do. Two bathrooms and two bedrooms costs more than one bathroom and three bedrooms.

Standard or deep

The single biggest split. A deep clean reaches inside appliances, behind furniture, into grout and tracks. It is a different job, not a longer version of the same one.

How long since the last clean

The answer people expect to matter least, and it matters most. A home cleaned last month and a home cleaned last year are not the same work.

How often

There are prices for once a month, twice a month and weekly. The more often we come, the less there is to do each visit.

Pets, floors and square footage

Pets add time, mostly in hair. Stairs and multiple floors add time. Square footage matters, but less than the four things above it.

Tell us those and you get a real number for your home rather than a range that fits nobody. Regular cleaning and deep cleaning are priced separately.

Tell us about the job and we will come back with a price.
